MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
BRITTANY LAKES HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC.
July 26, 2007
A meeting of the Board of Directors of Brittany Lakes Homeowners Association, Inc. (?Association?) was held on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. at the Magnolia Creek Clubhouse located at 4751 League City Parkway, League City, Texas 77573.
Elizabeth ?Beth? Scully and Linda Lorch were present as the Board of Directors, which constituted a quorum of Board Members. Eli Mark was not present. Also in attendance was Janet Sakach, CMCA, PCAM representing Planned Community Management, Inc. (“PCMI”). Ted Winslow, an owner member was present during the regular session of Board meeting.
Beth Scully called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m.
First, the Board reviewed of the minutes from the June 21, 2007 Board meeting. A motion was made, second and carried it was:
RESOLVED: to approve the minutes from Board meeting held on June 21, 2007.
Next, the financial statement from the end of June 2007 was reviewed.
Then, the Board discussed the final plans for the upcoming National Night Out community event.
After a brief discussion, a motion being made, second and carried it was:
RESOLVED: to approve the proposal from Kraftsman Playground & Park Equipment in the amount of $2,566.49 for four (4) bike racks and two (2) skateboard racks.
Upon further consideration, a motion being made, second and carried it was:
RESOLVED: to approve a proposal from K. R. Allen Construction to install the four (4) bike racks and two (2) skateboard racks for the fee of $1,710.00.
Then, the Board discussed the desire to occasionally have current areas of the community sprayed for mosquitoes. A motion being made, second and carried it was:
RESOLVED: to approve to have the area surrounding the large lake and the main recreation center area located at 2112 Brittany Lakes Drive hand sprayed for mosquitoes on August 6, 2007, which is the day before ?National Night Out?.
The next meeting was scheduled for Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 6:30 pm. at the Magnolia Creek Clubhouse.
There being no further business to come before the Board in the regular session; the meeting was adjourned at 7:29 p.m.
The Board then went into a brief Executive session.
Upon the conclusion of the Executive session, the Board officially adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
